Concealed Carry Permit Firearms Training Course

The course will be 18 hours total and will have lecture,
discussion, demonstrations
and practical performance
testing. Students will learn the fundamentals of
shooting and how to survive a deadly encounter. The course
includes NYS Penal
Law Article 35 - Defense Of
Justification (The Use Of Force), the basic fundamentals
as well as skills training. Per new (Sept. 2022)
requirements, students will be
required to score 80% on
a written proficiency test and successfully complete a
live fire assessment including scoring 4 out of 5 rounds on
target.
Required Items for Class
- 25 Rounds of Ammunition (No Magnum Ammo)
- A Pistol or revolver that is registered on their permit
- Holster that will be used for concealment
- Baseball Cap
- Hearing Protection
- Eye Protection (prescription eyeware is allowed)
The firearm training course is taught by professional
instructors who have taught
and worked with firearms for
over 50 years. Class size is limited and is booked on
a
first-come first-serve basis.

Saturday, October 5, 2024 (in 18 days) This course will take place on October 5th and 6th from 9am to 6pm. The course will be 18 hours total and will have lecture, discussion, demonstrations and practical performance testing.
