Concealed Carry Permit Firearms Training Course

  • Accepted in Broome County, Tioga County and Chenango County

The course will be 8-hours long and will have lecture, discussion, demonstrations and practical performance.  Students will learn the fundamentals of shooting and how to survive a deadly encounter.  The course includes NYS Penal Law Article 35 - Defense Of Justification (The Use Of Force), the basic fundamentals as well as skills training.

Required Items for Class

  • 24 Rounds of Ammunition (No Magnum Ammo)
  • A Pistol
  • Holster and Belt (No Shoulder Holsters please)
  • Baseball Cap
  • Hearing Protection
  • Eye Protection

The firearm training course is taught by professional instructors who have taught and worked with firearms for over 50 years.  Class size is limited and is booked on a first-come first-serve basis.



Firearms Training Course Dates

Saturday, December 30, 2017 (in 16 days)
This course takes place on December 30, an all day Saturday class, from 9am to 5pm. This class is geared for those persons looking to change their permit status to a Conceal Carry Permit. Each student will be required to shoot 24 rounds on our range. Required Equipment: NYS Pistol Permit, Pistol, Holster for pistol that fits on a belt, 24 rounds of NON-Magnum ammunition, a baseball cap, eye and hearing protection. Weapons and ammo are not allowed in the class room area. The course is held at PAL Camp, 536 Stratmill Road, Kirkwood, New York 13795. Credit card payment on line. Cash or personal check accepted at the door.
